Mixed Bean Chilli

This Mixed Bean Chilli which includes our Garlic & Herb Blend (Heady & Herby) is the perfect starter for the beginning of a healthy year. With a simple yet healthy recipe even the most inexperienced chefs will create this dish with ease. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil,
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 chilli, sliced
  • 200g meatless farm mince
  • 1.5 tsp Nudespice Heady and Herby Blend
  • 1 pepper, diced
  • 1/2 aubergine, diced
  • 150g kale &/or spinach
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tin mixed beans, drained
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method 

  • Fry the onions, garlic and chilli in oil for a few minutes then add the mince
  • Sautee with the seasoning until it begins to brown/cook then add the pepper. Fry for a few minutes before adding the auberine
  • Fry again for a few more minutes before adding the kale & spinach. Once it begins to wilt, then add in the chopped tomatoes and beans
  • Bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes
  • Stir through chilli flakes and serve with salad and/or rice!
