Spicy Black Bean Hummus with Sweet Potato Fries

This Spicy Black Bean Hummus with Sweet Potato Fries will have your tastebuds tingling. Such a simple healthy dish and so tasty! Try it today with our very own Nudespice Sweet & Smoky. 

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 TBS tahini 
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 3 TBS extra virgin olive oil 
  • 1 TBS Nudespice Sweet & Smoky blend
  • 2 tsp salt 
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tsp smoky paprika

Method 

Black Bean Hummus
  • Rinse and drain beans
  • Combine beans, tahini, garlic, lime juice, Nudespice Sweet & Smoky and 1 tsp salt into the food processor until mixed
  • Drizzle in 2 TBS olive oil as the mixture continues to spin. Adding the oil at a slow and continuous speed will ensure that it is incorporated evenly
Sweet Potato Fries
  • Preheat oven to 200C
  • Slice sweet potatoes into wedges and arrange on a lined baking sheet
  • Drizzle with 1 TBS olive oil, 2 tsp smoky paprika and 1 tsp salt - mix well 
  • Bake for 35 minutes, flipping half way. 
Make sure wedges are evenly spaced on the baking sheet, as they will be crispier this way!
